This lovely rose was blooming in Spokane's Manito Rose Garden. It's scent was a combination of orange and sugar and violet.

This vintage rose is very fragrant. I grew it in my Kingston garden. It's lovely blooms have many small petals. A very lovey rose.

One of the gardeners in my community plot has a table outside of her fenced yard with amoney box and bouquets of flower. $3-5 suggested donation for a boquet of Cantaberry bells, peonies, blades of grass, and roses. Very quaint.

Rogasa Rose

My sister said to me, I've seen this very special rose called the Ragosa Rose. And I said, oh, a nursery man suggested we plant those along the fenceline at our Indianola home. We made a fence of beach wood. It was twisted and gnarled, cute and the roses, nice and hearty, probably the fence is completely overgrown now. This one is growing at the entrance to the interurban trail.

Ragosa Rose

The wild roses are blooming now. Beautiful pink roses, delicate and fragrant. This white Ragosa Rose was blooming along the Interurban Trail. Very pretty.

I planted climbing roses up the side of my house. They were cheap plants from the drug store, but they are the most fragrant roses, like the old timey ones you used to get when you bought flowers.

I painted a yellow rose twining through rustic fence for a friend of mine named Rose. We'd both lost our brothers in accidents. It was in the 80s. It was a sad time for us, losing not only a sibling, but part of our identity. The rose was sweet, fresh, idyllic. She loved it.
