These are truely beautiful trees when in bloom. When I was young, I lived on Madelia and my boyfriend, whom I later married, lived on Magnolia. I'd never seen a Magnolia tree before and called it a Tulip Tree. He said, many people thought it was called that, but it's a Magnolia.
