Christmas Cactus

Pretty the way these flowers petals fold together. And the stamens, so lacy.

Spring Has Sprung

Yes, I know. This is wishful thinking. But think of it, how fast does three months go? Fast!

Calla Lilies

This photograph is by Sandra A. I've never grown calla lilies but they are so pretty, I see why they're captured in paint as well as photography.

Peonies petals

Beautiful peony petals. I think of peonies as old fashioned flowers.

Magnolia

Look at the center of this flower--it's a work of art. Of course it is.
Jaki good photography.

Amaryllis

Good way to have winter flowers, grow the ammarylis, an amazing flower.

Stamens

Here is a close-up photo by Jaki Good. Very nice, all those stamens. Not sure what this flower is, anyone know?

Orange Rose

These petals are curving in a lyrical manner. So pretty and the orange color is more like sherbert. Very sweet.

Icy Rose Hip

Here you go, winter and rose hips. Outside, it's snowing. An inch or so fell overnight and more is expected. Ice is under it all.

China Rose

I'm not sure what a China Rose is, but I love this flower. So papery.

Calendula from Bakchim

Isn't this shade of orange delicious? I love the dark background. Calendalu is one of the first to bloom and one of the last.

In The Snow

Here is a very pretty pink rose with a dusting of snow. I don't think there are any roses blooming now, here in the PNW.

Winter Rose

This is sweet, the crystals of snow on this flower.

Snow on Gorse

So this would be a surprise because these flowers are blooming into late spring. Very pretty flower, but they don't smell great.

Daffodil with Snow

It's supposed to snow tonight--and of course it's the wrong time of year for daffodis--but once it snowed on my birthday in April. I was ready to tear out my hair.
