Calla Lilies
This photograph is by Sandra A. I've never grown calla lilies but they are so pretty, I see why they're captured in paint as well as photography.

Orange Rose
These petals are curving in a lyrical manner. So pretty and the orange color is more like sherbert. Very sweet.
Icy Rose Hip
Here you go, winter and rose hips. Outside, it's snowing. An inch or so fell overnight and more is expected. Ice is under it all.
Calendula from Bakchim
Isn't this shade of orange delicious? I love the dark background. Calendalu is one of the first to bloom and one of the last.

In The Snow
Here is a very pretty pink rose with a dusting of snow. I don't think there are any roses blooming now, here in the PNW.
Snow on Gorse
So this would be a surprise because these flowers are blooming into late spring. Very pretty flower, but they don't smell great.
Daffodil with Snow
It's supposed to snow tonight--and of course it's the wrong time of year for daffodis--but once it snowed on my birthday in April. I was ready to tear out my hair.

Dahlia
The dahlias are still blooming down my Taylor Dock. I was surprised, thinking it's already November, flowers should be taking a break. Most all the leaves are off the trees.

Yes, we are having some frost now. It won't be long before it snows. It's is strange to have it so dark, early. I was sitting eating dinner last night around 6 and it was night outside. Freaked me out.

Primroses
I love primroses. Around here there are fall flowers one can plant, pansies and primroses. The primrose blooms early in the spring and somewhat late in the fall.

Pink, pink
The shade of this flower reminds me of an old auntie. It is a vintage color and feels sweet. Plant many pink flowers in your garden. I had a color theme of pink and yellow.

Pink Dahlias
Growing dahlias easy, only you have to be willing to take up the bulbs in the fall and dry them and store them. Bulbs and tubers are something that can be split and new plants made. I've never had the patience for it all, but many have beautiful gardens. See Growing Dahlias
